8.00 - 9.00 am REGISTRATION/CHECK-IN children

 

8.00 - 9.30 am REGISTRATION/CHECK-IN adults

                    on foreshore opposite 5732 Kenepuru Road -

                    (½ km on from Waitaria Bay School towards St Omer)

 

9.00 am  BRIEFING children - you must be there

9.15  am  RED DEER JUNIOR TRI

 

            Watch and cheer those amazing kids doing their best!

 

10.00 am BRIEFING adults - you must be there

10.15 am WAITARIA BAY TRI plus 

            ...and then the gun goes off at 10.15 am for the main event – watch the

            kayaks take off as this can be a laugh

 

12.30 pm BBQ/JUICE – available for purchase - BYO alcohol

           During the event there will be ice cream for sale     

   

 1.30 pm  SPOT PRIZEGIVING @ Waitaria Bay Hall 

             Adult & junior entrants

             Prizes are all spot prizes as these events are to encourage participation

             Results will be available

 

 

 

AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES

For all to enjoy (not only for competitors)

BBQ  (incl burgers/salad) and tea/coffee will be available at the Waitaria Bay Hall from 12.30 pm (charge for BBQ food)

  • Bar with juice sales/BYO alcohol

  • Spot prizes presented to competitors of both events at the social afternoon   at the Waitaria Bay Hall 1.30 pm     

  • NB  You must be present to receive your spot prize

  • Adjacent swimming pool for use (children must be supervised)

  • Waitaria Bay School showers are available for competitors’ use

 

Come along and have a great time, and either join in the fun or support this event. Make this a family day out and then stay on for the afternoon and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere.
